Titleist has unveiled the next generation of its metalwoods with the 2026 GTS Series - and is relying on a technological advancement that has not been possible to this extent before. Driver and Fairwaywoods benefit equally from more composite material, a new weighting concept and a revised clubface that increases ball speed across the entire hitting area.
The result: more length, more forgiveness and more individual adaptability - for golfers of all abilities.
The GTS series comprises a total of five models:
All models are now available for fitting and pre-sale. The worldwide retail launch is June 11, 2026.
Anyone familiar with the previous GT series will be asking themselves: What's behind the "S"? The answer lies in the consistent further development of the material strategy.
The GT Driver already relied on the exclusive Matrix Polymer (PMP) - a thermoformed composite material that saves weight without compromising on sound and feel. The GTS series goes much further here: with 26 grams of PMP - twice as much as in the GT series - the material makes up almost 60% of the surface of the club head, but contributes only 13% of the total mass.
The Fairwaywoods also use significantly more composite in the crown, which now also extends around the sides of the club head.
The result in both cases: considerably more freely available weight, which can be used specifically for lower and more rearwardly positioned centers of gravity (CG) - and thus has a direct influence on launch, spin and stability.
The heart of the GTS Driver technology: The weight gained by the PMP body is not distributed evenly, but is specifically split between two positions - far back in the head for maximum moment of inertia (MOI) and low at the front of the clubface for optimum launch and spin dynamics. Achieving both at the same time was not possible with previous construction methods.
With the GTS Fairwaywoods, the continuous composite crown creates around 16 grams of free weight for lower and more rearward centers of gravity. The forged L-Cup face design ensures that ball speed and launch are maintained even on shots in the lower face area - typically when playing from the Fairway.
The new Speed Sync Face technology optimizes face performance across the entire hitting area. The COR (Coefficient of Restitution) has been specifically improved, especially in the upper area of the clubface - a frequent point of impact with the Driver - resulting in measurable gains in ball speed.
All GTS models - Driver and Fairwaywood - have a dual weight ing system with interchangeable weights. Depending on the configuration, the center of gravity can be shifted to individually adjust Draw-Bias, Fade-Bias, Launch and Spin. This system makes the GTS series a particularly powerful fitting tool.
The raised tail section of the GTS2 and GTS3 Driver improves airflow and increases head speed - without compromising CG position. The polished silver face of the Fairwaywoods (and the high-contrast face graphics of the Drivers) have a proven positive impact on alignment and shot quality.

Three models, one common technology foundation - but clearly different Performance profiles for different types of players.

The most forgiving model in the range. Elegant profile, high launch, medium spin - ideal for players looking for consistent distance across the face.
Recommended for: Handicap 10+, players who prefer forgiveness over workability
More compact profile, deeper clubface, lower spin. The GTS3 is aimed at control-conscious players with a higher swing speed who want to actively shape their ball flight.
Recommended for: Low handicap, higher club head speed, ball flight control
The low-spin model in the series - for the first time with a full 460cc head volume, which provides significantly more forgiveness on off-center hits compared to previous models. Ideal for players who tend to spin too much and lose length as a result.
Recommended for: High club head speed, high spin rates, players who have lacked forgiveness with previous low-spin drivers

Two clearly differentiated models for two different launch angles - with the same core technologies under the hood.

Larger, wider profile with a flat face - confidence inspiring at address and particularly forgiving on off-center hits. The flatter sole design enables clean glide under the ball from the Fairway.
Available lofts: 13.5° - 15° - 16.5° - 18° - 21°
Recommended for: Flat launch angle, 15+ handicap, players who prefer forgiveness
More compact, narrower profile with a deeper clubface - for players who use the Fairwaywood with workability in mind. New: Also available in 21 degrees (7 Wood loft) for the first time.
Available lofts: 15° - 16.5° - 18° - 21° (new)
Recommended for: Steep launch angle, low handicap, control and ball flight shaping
At the debut of the GTS series at the Texas Children's Houston Open, more than 50 PGA TOUR players switched to a GTS Driver - including Justin Thomas (GTS2, 9.0°) and Jordan Spieth (GTS2, 10.0°). Internationally, Bernd Wiesberger (DP World Tour), Davis Lamb (Korn Ferry Tour) and Sangyeop Lee (KPGA) won their first tournaments with the new equipment.
Titleist has been the most played Driver on the PGA TOUR for seven consecutive seasons. The GTS series continues this legacy.
The technological possibilities of the GTS series unfold their full added value in the context of a professional fitting. Driver model, loft, weight configuration and shaft selection work together - and small differences can have a big impact on length, accuracy and playing enjoyment.
