The PGA Tour has published its tournament calendar for the 2026 season. The announcement, which was made on the sidelines of this year's FedExCup Playoffs, brings with it a number of significant changes that could have a lasting impact not only on the schedule but also on the structure of the Tour. Particular attention will be paid to the return of a once prominent venue and the expansion of signature events.
Probably the most prominent change is the reintroduction of the Trump National Doral in Miami as a tournament venue. The resort, which was used by the LIV Golf Tour in previous years, will host the Miami Championship at the end of April. This tournament is designated as a Signature Event and marks the PGA Tour 's first return to a course run by Donald Trump since 2016. The decision to reinstate Doral to the calendar brings the number of Signature Events to nine. These tournaments, which offer higher prize money and a limited field of participants, form the heart of the new Tour model.
Here you can find all the tournaments on the PGA Tour as well as the Tee Times and Leaderboards.
The addition of the Miami Championship to the PGA Tour calendar results in a particularly packed schedule, especially for the world's best players. Between the Masters in early April and the PGA Championship in mid-May, five top-class tournaments are scheduled in a period of just six weeks. This block includes the Masters, the signature events RBC Heritage, Miami Championship and Truist Championship as well as the PGA Championship. Experts are already speculating that this concentration could lead to a strategic reduction in tournaments on the part of the top players in order to avoid an overload. Tournaments that do not have signature status, such as the Valero Texas Open or the Zurich Classic, could struggle to attract the strongest players during this period.

Away from the signature events, there are also adjustments to the calendar:
Several tournaments change their place in the annual calendar or disappear altogether. The CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the Charles Schwab Challenge will now be held back-to-back in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, region. The World Championship Phoenix Open moves up a week and will now be held on Super Bowl weekend. In the summer, the Rocket Classic will move to a late July date, shortly before the end of the regular season. This timing could give the tournament a stronger field of participants, as players are desperate to score points just before the playoffs.
Less fortunate was the Barracuda Championship, the only tournament with the Stableford format, which was completely removed from the calendar in 2026. The Mexico Open will be moved to the fall, and the Corales Puntacana Championship will switch to the date of the British Open in July.
