The tournament took place from August 27 to 30, 2026, at The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, England. After weather-related interruptions on the first two days, the field had to complete the schedule under difficult conditions.

Before his final round, Dean was seven strokes behind the leader, Daniel Hillier. However, with nine Birdies—four of them on the final six holes—the 32-year-old staged an extraordinary comeback. His wife, Emily, carried his bag and supported him as his caddie.

The victory marked Dean’s first win on the DP World Tour—in his 70th start. The Englishman, who had previously worked as a grocery delivery driver, jumped from 74th to 13th in the Race to Dubai standings thanks to this triumph. He is also expected to make a significant leap up the world rankings.

Prize Money at the 2026 British Masters

Behind Dean, Nacho Elvira, Daniel Hillier, Niklas Nørgaard, and Jacob Skov Olesen tied for second place. All four players finished at 11 under Par and each received 199,414.63 euros.

Marco Penge, Tom McKibbin, and Thomas Rosenmüller tied for sixth place. Penge had briefly taken the lead after a strong second round but fell back to 10 Par on the final day after several mistakes.
