The TGL has released the full rosters for its third season. Seven teams, 35 players, and a new franchise from Detroit: Who’s playing where, and what’s changing.
On October 20, 2026, the TGL announced the rosters for its third season. A total of 35 players are spread across seven teams. Twelve of them are entering their first TGL season, while 23 are returning players. The season is set to begin on December 27 at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The league has not yet released a complete schedule.

The Los Angeles Golf Club enters the season as the defending champion. Morikawa, Rose, Fleetwood, and Theegala won the 2026 SoFi Cup, and the team led the league in triples holes won (27) and triples points (31). Ben James rounds out the roster. He was the No. 1 player on the PGA Tour University in 2026 and earned his Tour card through that program.
Boston Common Golf remains built around Rory McIlroy, joined by Shane Lowry, whose move we’ll cover in a separate post. Michael Thorbjornsen moves up from the bench to the starting lineup. In 2026, Boston made more Puts from at least ten feet (about three meters) than any other team, and Thorbjornsen contributed six of those.

Atlanta Drive GC won the first SoFi Cup in 2025. Chris Gotterup, who won three times on the PGA Tour in 2026, moves up to the starting lineup. Michael Brennan replaces Lucas Glover. He won the Wyndham Championship and the Baycurrent Classic in 2026.
The Bay Golf Club missed the playoffs in 2026 after the team had reached the semifinals in 2025. The club is responding with Ryan Fox, the reigning Open champion, and 19-year-old Blade Brown. Brown is the youngest player to earn a PGA Tour card via the Korn Ferry Tour. Wyndham Clark, who claimed three PGA Tour victories in 2026—including his second U.S. Open title—remains on the team as an experienced player.
Jupiter Links Golf Club is retaining Tiger Woods, Max Homa, and Tom Kim. Kim hit a hole-in-one in the final group of the 2026 main round, which secured his spot in the playoff. Akshay Bhatia has been promoted to the starting lineup. Keith Mitchell is a new addition. He ranked fourth on the PGA Tour in Strokes Gained: Off-the-Tee in 2026. Kevin Kisner is leaving the team.
As a co-founder of the league, Woods remains on the roster. Following an accident in March 2026, he had stepped away from golf for a time to undergo treatment. In September, he agreed to a reduced charge in the related proceedings, which included a five-year driver’s license suspension. It remains unclear when he will return to competition.
The New York Golf Club is counting on the Fitzpatrick brothers, who won the 2026 Zurich Classic of New Orleans together. Matt Fitzpatrick, Cameron Young, and Rickie Fowler are staying on, while Ben Griffin is joining the team. The goal is to return to the playoffs, which the team missed in 2026. Xander Schauffele is leaving the league.
Motor City Golf Club is the league’s seventh franchise and is based in Detroit. Brooks Koepka, who has won five major titles, leads the team. Jackson Koivun won the 3M Open in his third professional start and remained undefeated in his Presidents Cup debut (two wins, one tie). Bud Cauley won the 2026 RBC Canadian Open after fighting his way back following a car accident in 2018. Jake Knapp and Si Woo Kim bring a combined total of five PGA Tour titles to the league. Kim won The Players Championship in 2017.
Departures: In addition to Schauffele (New York), Kisner (Jupiter), and Glover (Atlanta), Adam Scott (Boston) is also leaving the league.
Rufus Hack, President of Golf at TMRW Sports, said in the TGL press release: “Our teams are developing their own identities that reflect the personality and competitive spirit of their players, the character of the cities they represent, and the vision of their ownership groups. After two seasons, these teams have forged a shared history, and the growing rivalries add extra intensity to the competition. With the Motor City Golf Club joining the league and new players injecting fresh energy into established teams, fans have a lot to look forward to in 2027.”
With the teams now set, the lineup for the third season is largely clear. The schedule and the resulting matchups are still to be determined.
