Two series, seven models, one goal: more consistency on the course. With the King and Baffler series, Cobra presents a well thought-out range of irons that caters to golfers from beginners to ambitious players. We present both series - and help you make the right choice.
Cobra Golf is one of the most innovative club manufacturers in the industry. With the King series and the Baffler series, the American manufacturer serves two clearly defined groups of players - each with several variants that cover different swing speeds, handicap ranges and requirements. Anyone interested in new irons will find a wide selection in the Cobra lineup: from technologically advanced game-improvement irons to particularly player-friendly combo sets with Hybrid constructions. The decisive question is not just "Which irons are the best?", but above all: "Which irons suit my game?"

The Cobra King series is the more technologically ambitious of the two ranges. At its heart is the consistent use of modern production technologies, which are new in this combination: Cobra integrates a 3D-printed medallion with a complex lattice structure into the club head. The result is a noticeable weight saving, which allows the center of gravity to be lowered in a targeted manner - with a direct influence on forgiveness, ball flight stability and launch behavior.
This design principle is complemented by three other key technologies shared by all models in the King series:
Depending on the version, the series is aimed at golfers with a handicap of around 12 to 48+.
Read more about the Cobra King irons here.

Cobra King - The model for golfers with a medium to fast swing speed. The irons impress with strong lofts, a player-oriented profile and an optimized weight distribution that combines maximum length with noticeable forgiveness. The set includes nine clubs (4-irons to SW) and is available with both steel and graphite shafts. Recommended for handicap 12-36.
Cobra King MAX - The MAX version is aimed at golfers with a more moderate swing speed or a higher handicap. A larger oversize profile, a stronger offset and lofts raised by two degrees make ball launch considerably easier and promote a natural Draw tendency. Those who tend to slice frequently will find constructive support here. Set size: nine clubs (4-irons to SW). Recommended for handicap 24-48+.
Cobra King MAX Ladies - The ladies' version of the MAX series takes the proven oversize design and adds a specially tuned lightweight graphite shaft (KBS PGI BKS V55, Flex L, 55 g) and a ladies-specific swingweight (C6). The result is a particularly light, effortless swing with a high ball launch and maximum forgiveness. Set size: eight clubs (5-Iron to SW). Recommended for handicap 24-48+.

The Cobra Baffler series follows a different philosophy to the King line. Instead of relying on a uniform iron construction, each Baffler set combines different club technologies to create a harmoniously coordinated overall package. The aim: maximum support in every playing situation - from the tee shot to long approaches to the short game around the green.
At the heart of the series is the legendary Baffler Rail technology: rails on the sole of the long and mid irons stabilize the club head as it glides through the turf, reducing digging and ensuring consistent shot patterns. There are no rails in the shorter irons and wedges - the focus here is on control and versatility.
Depending on the model, up to five different club constructions are used:
The entire Baffler series is aimed at golfers with a handicap of around 24-48+.

Cobra Baffler - The entry-level model in the series combines four construction types (Hybrid-Irons 6-7, Hollow-Irons 8-9, Cavity-Back PW-SW) and, with the Cobra 2025 Ultralite shaft in Flex R and A, offers good playability for golfers with a moderate swing speed. The cheapest men's set in the comparison. Set size: seven clubs (6-Iron to SW).
Cobra Baffler Ladies - The ladies' version of the Baffler Iron set is designed for light, effortless play. The ultra-light ladies' shaft (Flex L, approx. 50 g) and the ladies-optimized swing weight (C2) enable higher club head speeds and an easy ball launch. The set starts with the 7-iron and is therefore ideal for female golfers who prefer short irons. Set size: six clubs (7-Iron to SW).
Cobra Baffler Combo - The most comprehensive men's model in the Baffler series starts with two Hybrids (4H & 5H) and thus offers the most complete package for golfers who want to completely replace long Irons with Hybrids. Five different club designs ensure seamless transitions from Tee to green. Set size: seven clubs (4H to PW). Recommended for handicap 24-48+.
Cobra Baffler Combo Ladies - The ladies version of the Combo set combines two Hybrids (5H & 6H) with Hybrid Irons, Hollow Irons and Cavity Back Wedges to offer the most complete set of all ladies models. The light women's swingweight (C2) and the Ultralite shaft provide optimum support at moderate swing speed. Set size: eight clubs (5H to SW). Recommended for handicap 24-48+.

Both series share the overriding goal of supporting golfers with more consistency and forgiveness. However, the decisive difference lies in the design philosophy: the King series relies on technologically advanced, uniform iron designs with a focus on ball speed and modern feel. The Baffler series, on the other hand, prioritizes maximum playability through the use of different club technologies within a set - with a particular focus on ground interaction and the easiest possible ball launch.
