The renowned golf club manufacturer Cobra is ringing in the year 2026 with a technological offensive. With the introduction of the new Cobra King Irons and the King Max variant, the company is presenting its most advanced models to date in the field of "Max Game Improvement". We have the details on the new series, which should be the focus of many golfers from now on.
At the heart of the new series is the increased use of 3D printing technology. Cobra uses a 3D-printed medallion with a complex grid structure to significantly reduce the weight of the club head. The results of this design are measurable:
Cobra offers two different versions to cover different needs on the course.
This model is primarily aimed at faster players in the 10 to 20 handicap range. The aim here is to achieve a maximum combination of ball speed and forgiveness across the entire clubface.
For golfers with a moderate swing speed or a higher handicap, the MAX version offers additional support:
Jose Miraflor, VP of Product Architecture at Cobra Puma Golf, explains: "We have two fantastic new designs that offer distance, forgiveness and high launch for a wide range of recreational players."

A technical highlight of both models is the revised SKID SOLE design. Inspired by the legendary Wedge designs of Phil Rodgers, the sole has a pre-optimized leading edge and a flatter middle area. This allows the club head to sit closer to the ground, improving ground contact and ball speed for all swing types.
Golfers don't have to wait much longer. The official pre-order for the new models has already started at All4Golf. The irons will then be available in stores and online from February 6, 2026.
