The 2026 BMW International Open is the golf highlight of the year in Germany. From July 1 through 5, 2026, the elite of the DP World Tour will gather at the Munich Eichenried Golf Club to compete for a total prize purse of 2,750,000 euros at the 37th edition of this traditional tournament. Whether you want to buy tickets, watch the livestream, or find out the tee times for the German stars—you’ll find all the information here.
Here are the BMW International Open 2026 tee times.
Anticipation is running high for the 2026 BMW International Open, as three top German players have already confirmed their participation.
It was set to be particularly emotional for Stephan Jäger: The PGA Tour winner wanted to return to the course where he first learned to play golf. After missing the 2025 edition due to the birth of his son, he had hoped to shine in front of his home fans in Eichenried in 2026. However, just a few days before the start of the BMW International Open, he withdrew from the tournament. Read more about the reasons behind Stephan Jäger’s withdrawal here.
Martin Kaymer, the only German winner to date (2008) and the youngest champion in the tournament’s history, will once again compete in the BMW International Open. Matti Schmid, who was the top German in 2025 with a tie for seventh place and wants to once again demonstrate his strong form on the DP World Tour, will also tee off in Munich-Eichenried. Marcel Siem is also a regular at the BMW International Open. His parents ran the club restaurant at the Munich-Eichenried Golf Club in the 1990s. The now six-time DP World Tour winner therefore spent many hours on the course in northern Munich during his youth.

Anyone who wants to experience world-class golf live should secure their BMW International Open 2026 tickets early. The tournament is usually very well attended. In 2025, around 60,000 fans flocked to the Munich-Eichenried Golf Club over the course of the tournament week.
Discounts: Children 14 and under enjoy free admission to the grounds (the Pro-Am on Wednesday is free for all visitors). High school and college students, as well as people with disabilities, receive a 50 percent discount.
BMW International Open tickets are available on the tournament’s official website.

You can always find the latest BMW International Open leaderboard and tee times here on Greenfeed. Live scores will be available starting with the first Putt sunk at the München-Eicheried Golf Club. The total prize money for the 2026 BMW International Open is $3,000,000. This places the tournament in the “Standard” category of the DP World Tour. The winner at the Munich-Eichenried Golf Club will receive approximately $500,000 in prize money as well as guaranteed playing privileges on the Tour for two more years. Last year, England’s Daniel Brown secured the winner’s prize money and his Tour card. Since the event’s inaugural edition, the prize money has increased roughly tenfold. In 1989, a total of just over 275,000 euros was awarded, with just over 64,000 euros going to the winner (David Feherty).
The tournament officially begins on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, with the popular BMW International Open Pro-Am. Here, pros meet celebrities—a perfect opportunity to collect autographs in a relaxed atmosphere. In recent years, stars from sports (Gareth Bale, Oliver Bierhoff, Philip Kohlschreiber), film (Kai Wiesinger, Kostja Ullmann), and the arts (Paul Ripke) have participated.
On Thursday, July 2, 2026, the DP World Tour tournament will begin. The first tee shot will take place around 7:30 a.m. Play will begin from the 1st and 10th tees. This also applies to the second round of the BMW International Open, which will take place on Friday, July 3, 2026. On Saturday and Sunday, play will begin only from the 1st Tee, as only the top 65 players (and ties) will be allowed to tee off after the cut. Play usually starts a little later in the day than in the first two rounds.

For all fans who can’t be on-site at the München Eichenried Golf Club, there are plenty of ways to watch the BMW International Open live.
In Germany, MagentaTV holds the broadcast rights to the DP World Tour and will show the tournament in its entirety. In addition, there will likely be daily live segments on free-to-air TV again. Those who want to watch on the go should look for the BMW International Open livestream on Magenta Sport or on the official tournament website. In France, Canal+ broadcasts the PGA Tour. In many other European countries, Sky is the partner for the European circuit.
The organizers are committed to a sustainable mobility plan. Take advantage of the free shuttle bus, which runs from Thursday through Sunday between the Ismaning S-Bahn station and the tournament grounds. For drivers, free parking is available directly on site (weather permitting).
