Titleist has once again underlined its claim to the top: With the new Titleist GTS Drivers, the brand from Carlsbad, California, presents the next generation of its most-played metalwoods on the PGA TOUR - relying on a combination of novel material science, precise weighting technology and a clubface that generates more ball speed across the entire hitting area than ever before.
Three models - GTS2, GTS3 and GTS4 - are available for different player profiles and performance requirements. What they have in common: more speed, more stability and more individual adaptability than their predecessors. The GTS Drivers are now available for fittings and in pre-sales, worldwide in golf retailers from June 11, 2026.
Anyone familiar with the previous GT series is right to ask: What has really changed? The answer lies inside the club head.
For the first time, the GT Driver was based on the exclusive Matrix Polymer (PMP) - a thermoformed composite material that saves weight while delivering the desired sound and preferred feel. The GTS Driver takes this significantly further: with 26 grams of PMP - twice as much as in the GT series - the material makes up almost 60% of the surface of the club head, but contributes only 13% of the total mass.
The result: considerably more freely available weight, which the Titleist engineers were able to use in a targeted manner - and this is precisely the basis for all further technological leaps in the GTS series.
At the heart of the GTS technology is the new Split Mass Frame. The weight gained by the thermoformed PMP body is not simply distributed evenly, but is specifically split between two positions:
This combination was not technically possible until now. This is because a center of gravity that is further forward generates speed and optimal launch characteristics, but usually comes at the cost of stability. The Split Mass Frame solves this conflict of objectives - and makes the GTS Driver better in both areas than the GT generation.
"We know that a center of gravity that is further forward generates speed as well as optimal ball launch and spin characteristics. At the same time, stability must be maintained. Achieving these center of gravity and inertia values at the same time was not possible for us until now - and this is exactly what the GTS design now achieves."

The new Speed Sync Face technology optimizes face performance across the entire hitting area. Compared to the previous generation, the upper support ring of the clubface has been specifically opened: As a result, the clubface and outer area flex more on hits in the upper area, which maximizes the Coefficient of Restitution (COR) and noticeably increases ball speed in this area.
Combined with a variable face thickness across the entire face, the Speed Sync Face reliably delivers high ball speeds on both centered and slightly off-center hits.
In the GTS2 and GTS3, the rear section of the club head has been raised compared to the GT series. As a result, the airflow is better guided along the crown and sole - the club head moves faster through the air and increases head speed.
Normally, these aerodynamic advantages come at the cost of a higher and more rearward center of gravity - which can negatively affect launch and spin. With the Split Mass Frame, Titleist engineers have been able to improve aerodynamics without compromising CG positions.

Each GTS model has its own dual weighting system, which enables targeted adjustment of the depth of the center of gravity - and thus has a direct influence on launch, spin and dynamic club head rotation. Depending on the model, flat weights or track weights are used in two positions and can be swapped to shift the center of gravity further back and specifically increase launch and spin.
The striking lines on the face of the GTS Driver are not just a design element. They make it easier to align the ball and provide more visible loft at address - which has been proven to result in players hitting the ball steeper and achieving better overall impact qualities.
All three models are based on the GTS core technologies - but differ specifically in their performance profile in order to optimally appeal to different types of players.
| GTS2 | GTS3 | GTS4 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profile | Elegant, confidence inspiring | Compact, deeper face | New: 460 cc, larger than predecessor |
| Ball launch | High | Medium | Medium |
| Spin | Medium | Low | Lowest |
| Lofts (RH/LH) | 8°, 9°, 10°, 11° | 8°, 9°, 10°, 11° | 8°, 9°, 10° |
| Weight system | Dual-Flat: 11 g front / 5 g rear | Track + Flat: 8 g track front / 5 g rear | Track + Flat: 8 g track front / 5 g rear |
| For whom? | Forgiveness & power | Control & medium spin | Maximum spin reduction |
The GTS2 is the most forgiving model in the range. With its elegant, confidence-inspiring profile and the highest launch in the series, it is aimed at golfers looking for consistent performance across the entire clubface. The dual flat weight system (11g front, 5g rear in standard) provides high launch with medium spin - ideal for players with moderate swing speeds or those looking to add more control to their Driver.
Recommended for: Players with a 10+ handicap, golfers who prefer forgiveness over maximum workability
The GTS3 offers a more compact profile with a deeper clubface and appeals to players who want more control over ball flight and spin. Compared to the GTS2, it produces a lower launch with less spin - which can lead to more distance if the club head speed is high enough. The Track Weight System allows for particularly precise adjustment of the center of gravity depth.
Recommended for: Low handicap players, golfers with a higher swing speed who want to shape their ball flight

The GTS4 is the low-spin model in the series - and has been significantly enhanced compared to its predecessors. For the first time, the "4" model comes with a full 460cc head volume, which noticeably increases the fault tolerance for off-center hits. The GTS4 is aimed specifically at players who tend to spin at high rates and lose length as a result. The new shape was directly inspired by the Tour.
Recommended for: Players with high clubhead speed and high spin, golfers who have lacked forgiveness with previous low-spin drivers
The dual weighting system is not just a technical feature - it is a crucial fitting tool. Depending on the position of the weights, the ball flight pattern changes noticeably:
| Model | CG position | Ball launch | Spin |
|---|---|---|---|
| GTS2 | Standard (front) | High | Medium |
| GTS2 | Weights swapped (rear) | Highest | Medium |
| GTS3 | Standard (front) | Medium | Low |
| GTS3 | Weights swapped (rear) | Medium | Medium |
| GTS4 | Standard (front) | Medium | Lowest |
| GTS4 | Weights swapped (rear) | Medium | Lower |
A professional fitting is the most reliable way to find the optimum weight combination for your swing - and it's not just about model selection and loft, but also about shaft flex and CG configuration.

The best players in the world are often the toughest critics of new equipment technologies. The fact that more than 50 PGA TOUR players switched to a GTS Driver at the debut of the GTS series at the Texas Children's Houston Open is a clear signal.
Among the best-known converts are:
The GTS Drivers also reported victories in their first international tournaments:
Titleist has been the most played Driver on the PGA TOUR for seven consecutive seasons - the GTS series continues this legacy.
GTS Drivers are available in a wide range of shafts to best serve different swing speeds and player profiles.

The most reliable way to find out which shaft best suits your swing is to have a professional fitting.
The Titleist GTS Driver 2026 is not a model for a specific type of player - it is a series that covers every type of player. Whether maximum forgiveness (GTS2), controlled ball flight with low spin (GTS3) or consistent spin reduction with increased forgiveness (GTS4): The technological basis of Split Mass Frame, Speed Sync Face and optimized aerodynamics ensures measurable improvements in all three models compared to the previous series.
Anyone who already plays a GT Driver will find more speed, more stability and more customizability in the GTS Driver. If you are still looking for your ideal Driver, you should take the time for a professional fitting - because that is exactly what this series was developed for.
