Srixon is bringing a breath of fresh air to pro stores for the start of the 2026 season. With a comprehensive update of the popular AD333 and Q-STAR series, the manufacturer is focusing on a combination of proven performance, optical innovations and an increased focus on sustainability. We have analyzed the new models for you.
The Japanese golf balls specialist Srixon remains true to its line: high technology must be accessible for every level of play. While the new models have increased distance and spin, they are also breaking new ecological ground - from the biomass cover to plastic-free packaging.
The AD333 has been an institution in many amateur golfers' bags for years. The eleventh generation of this 2-piece classic promises to raise the bar once again in terms of all-round performance.
At its heart is the FastLayer Core, which is soft in the center and becomes firmer towards the outside in a controlled manner. The result: a soft feel in the irons, but explosive ball speeds off the tee. The proven Spin Skin coating provides the necessary control around the green, increasing the friction between the golf balls and the clubface. Srixon's move towards sustainability is particularly noteworthy: the AD333 is now supplied in completely plastic-free packaging made from environmentally friendly paper.
Many golfers want the spin characteristics of a Tour ball, but do not have the swing speed of a professional to optimally compress hard cores. This is exactly where the new Q-STAR TOUR (Generation 6) comes in.
With a moderate compression of 74, it offers the coveted urethane feel without overtaxing the player. Technologically, Srixon is taking a bold step here: the extra-thin premium cover is manufactured using biomass to reduce CO₂ emissions during production. In combination with the new Spin Skin+ coating, the ball literally digs into the grooves of the wedges - ideal for precise approach shots.
Who says golf balls always have to be white? The Q-STAR TOUR DIVIDE adopts the technology of the standard model, but visually breaks with all conventions. With its matt 50/50 design in contrasting colors (such as yellow/red or white/blue), it offers a decisive functional advantage:
| Feature | AD333 | Q-STAR TOUR / DIVIDE | Q-STAR ULTISPEED |
|---|---|---|---|
| Construction | 2-piece ionomer | 3-Piece Urethane | 3-piece ionomer |
| Feel / Compression | Soft | Very soft (74) | Soft (85) |
| Strength | Price/Performance & Allround | Spin control & Tour feel | Maximum distance |
| Special feature | Spin Skin & Eco-Cardboard | Biomass cover / 50:50 design | TRACKLINE system |
| RRP | approx. 30,00 € | 42,00 € | 35,00 € |
Srixon manages the balancing act between technical finesse and ecological responsibility in 2026. While the AD333 remains the perfect partner for price-conscious all-rounders, the Q-STAR series (especially as DIVIDE) offers innovative features that not only improve the game, but also visually enrich it. The new models are now available from specialist retailers.
