The Japanese premium manufacturer Srixon is expanding its popular ZXi series with two new models that are specifically designed for maximum support. With the Srixon ZXiR Irons and the high-launch version ZXiR HL, the brand is closing the gap between sporty Players models and forgiving comfort clubs. Golfers can look forward to a combination of innovative materials and proven sole technologies.
For a long time, Srixon was primarily regarded as a supplier for experienced players with high swing speeds. With the introduction of the Srixon ZXiR Irons, this focus has now changed fundamentally. The aim of the engineers was to pack the typical Srixon aesthetics and the acclaimed feel into a package that delivers consistent results even with less precise hits.
A key feature of the new Srixon ZXiR Irons is the material used. In contrast to many other clubs in this category, which often have a hard, almost clicky feel at impact, Srixon relies on the newly developed i-ALLOY. This material is around 10 % softer than conventional 431 stainless steel.
For golfers, this means a noticeable reduction in vibrations. The feedback on hits in the sweet spot is more reminiscent of forged irons, while at the same time maintaining the necessary stability for high forgiveness.

To maximize ball speed across the entire clubface, the Srixon ZXiR Irons come with the latest generation of MainFrame technology. This is a complex, computer-optimized milling pattern on the back of the clubface.
The special feature of this model: Srixon has specifically positioned the sweet spot lower. As statistical evaluations show that golfers in the game improvement area hit the ball more frequently in the lower area of the clubface, this design offers the highest energy transfer precisely there. The result is impressive consistency of length, even if the ball is not hit perfectly in the middle.
Visually, the Srixon ZXiR Irons remain true to the clear line of the ZXi family. An elegant topline and a classic cavity back design ensure a sporty look on the ball. Nevertheless, the longer face and wider sole immediately convey the necessary confidence at address.
A highlight for interaction with the ground is the revised Tour V.T. Sole. The characteristic V-shape of the sole has been adapted to the wider profile of the Game Improvement irons. It helps golfers to glide the club head through the grass instead of digging into the ground at a steep angle of impact. This is complemented by progressive grooves and a special laser milling on the clubface, which ensures stable spin in different weather conditions.
Srixon offers the new model in two different configurations to meet the individual needs of golfers:
The new Srixon ZXiR Irons will be available from All4Golf from mid-February 2026. The price for a set of six Irons is around €1,049, regardless of whether golfers opt for the steel or graphite version.
