He represents the Düsseldorf Golf Club and achieved handicap 0 and better as a young teenager. He decided to turn professional at the age of 19 - a bold and quick decision that led to his first Challenge Tour victory in 2022. Fun fact: Freddy is close friends with golf icon Marcel Siem and played with him for the first time at Düsseldorf GC at the age of 15. schott will be playing his third full season on the DP World Tour in 2025 .
