DGV President Claus Kobold: "Special thanks also go to the team at GC München-Riedhof, especially the Greenkeepers, who created first-class conditions with impressive professionalism despite the weather. Congratulations to the two new German team champions - GC St. Leon-Rot and GC Hösel on this well-deserved triumph! And I am particularly pleased to be able to announce it today: The Final Four will also return to this great venue in 2026. The Riedhof is a worthy setting for this special competition."
In addition to the sporting action, the organization surrounding the Final Four was once again a huge feat. Days before the tournament, preparations were in full swing: Cables were laid, banners positioned, screens, tents, info points and food and drink stands set up. The DGL was hosted at GC München-Riedhof for the second time - and the event was once again accompanied by media coverage: In addition to an almost four-hour livestream, the final was also broadcast live on Sky and for the first time on free-to-air TV on Sport1. Christian Schunck, Deputy Managing Director of Deutsche Golf Sport GmbH and head of the DGL project team, praised the cooperation: "Together with the club and its Managing Director Kariem Baraka, we once again achieved great things. I would like to thank our partners, especially All4Golf, who have once again supported us throughout the entire 2025 DGL season. For the second time - and for the first time on free TV - we were able to realize an almost four-hour livestream of the final matches on Sunday together with Genesis. A great added value and a great opportunity to make top-class German golf visible."
