Final Four of the German Golf League live on free TV for the first time
For the first time, the Final Four of the German Golf League will be shown live and free of charge on TV. There will also be a free live stream.
Sport1 will broadcast the decision on August 3 from GC München-Riedhof Wiesbaden, July 15, 2025 It is the highlight of the German Golf League (DGL) presented by All4Golf: The Final Four, in which the German team champions will be determined on August 2/3, 2025 at GC München-Riedhof. The highlight of the season will now also be shown on free-to-air TV on Sport1 for the first time. DGL partner Genesis makes it possible.
"No other event in golf in Germany involves as much emotion as the Final Four. The fact that this sporting highlight is now also being broadcast on free-to-air television is a continuation of the DGL success story," says Marcus Neumann. The Sports Director of the German Golf Association is looking forward to the coverage, which will now be extended to live pictures on Sunday, August 3, on the free TV channel Sport1. Neumann: "This will take this event, which stands for passion, dynamism and cohesion in golf like no other, to a new level. We are very much looking forward to it."

In addition to the free-to-air live stream on the website www.deutschegolfliga.de, the pay TV channel Sky will be reporting on the decision for the German Team Championship for more than three hours on Sunday. The four best teams from the 1st Bundesliga North and South (men's and women's) will battle it out for the coveted trophies in a man vs. man and woman vs. woman match play format. Which teams will lift the trophies in the end will be shown on free-to-air TV on Sport1 in addition to the stream and broadcast time on Sky.

The fact that we can now broadcast the special atmosphere and emotions for the first time on free-to-air TV on Sport1 in the living rooms of numerous sports fans and thus reach a broader target group is the consistent further development of the DGL," Christian Schunck, Deputy Managing Director of Deutsche Golf Sport GmbH, proudly announced.
