Callaway is expanding its range of clubs for ambitious players with two new developments: the Apex UW and the Apex UT. Both models combine state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques with a functional design based on feedback from Tour professionals. Their common goal: to make the long game from the Fairway and Tee even more precise.
The Callaway Apex UW (Utility Wood) is an innovative solution for golfers who want to combine the distance of a Fairwaywood with the versatility and control of a Hybrid.
At the core of the club is the Tungsten Speed Wave, a 41 gram tungsten mass. It is placed low and far forward in the head to optimize ball speed, especially on hits in the lower part of the clubface. The Step Sole design ensures improved turf interaction. This stepped sole reduces resistance and enables more consistent ball contact from different positions. A Triaxial Carbon Crown also saves weight. This mass is redistributed to increase fault tolerance without compromising the desired flight characteristics.
For experienced golfers looking for an alternative to a Driver or Hybrid, Callaway offers the new Apex UT Utility Iron. It has the shape of an Iron and enables precise length control.
A key feature of the club is the Flexcore Technology. It increases the clubface flexibility and thus ensures more consistent ball speeds - even with off-center hits. The face itself has been developed with an Ai Face design tailored to Utility Irons to maximize consistency with spin and length. The forged hollow body construction contributes to a solid feel and dampens unwanted vibrations.
The Apex UT goes on sale on November 7, 2025 and is available for 329 euros (RRP).
