Callaway continues to write its success story in the golf balls segment. The company, which is also known for Topgolf, has now achieved a global market share of 22.2 percent, according to its own figures. The US business in the premium golf balls segment has also grown to a record level. In addition, three major victories were won with golf balls from Callaway (two for the men, one for the women). Callaway itself states that the new "TD" produces less spin than the Chrome Tour X and is designed especially for players who put too much spin on the ball themselves. Although the core ("Hyper Fast Soft Core") and cover (urethane shell) are based on the Callaway Chrome Tour, the new model has a slightly firmer feel at impact due to its blend.
