Callaway is introducing the Elyte Driver Series to kick off the season. The lineup includes four new Driver models designed to cater to different skill levels, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
For skilled golfers, Callaway offers the Elyte Triple Diamond Driver, which is the most athletic and performance-oriented model in the family. For those who don’t always hit the center of the clubface consistently, there’s the most forgiving model, the Callaway Elyte X Driver. It’s even designed to provide extra help with a specific type of mishit. The Callaway Elyte Driver (without a model name) combines athletic performance with forgiveness. The Elyte X is also available in a women’s version featuring a lighter shaft with a high flex.
Callaway attributes the improved performance compared to previous years’ models primarily to three key factors: The “Thermo-Forged Carbon Crown” (a carbon crown pressed under high pressure) is said to be even lighter and more precisely engineered than ever before. The designers in Carlsbad were able to allocate the weight saved to other areas. For example, to improve (depending on the model) the bias for a specific flight path or the forgiveness. According to Callaway, the clubface is also machined with even greater precision, promising more consistent launch angles and spin rates. The third improvement concerns the aerodynamics of the clubhead. The edges have been slightly rounded to generate less drag. The simple principle behind it: better aerodynamics promise higher clubhead speed and, consequently, longer drives.
The Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond is the ideal choice for golfers with high performance expectations. This model is designed to maximize ball speed while minimizing spin, delivering a neutral ball flight. Equipped with interchangeable weight screws, the Triple Diamond offers experienced players the ability to fine-tune spin and ball flight direction. The weights allow you to optimize the center of gravity (CG) for greater stability toward the rear or for reduced spin toward the front. Although developed at the Tour level, the Callaway Triple Diamond Driver is surprisingly forgiving, appealing not only to the best players but also to ambitious golfers with mid-handicaps who want to benefit from lower spin and greater control.
The Callaway Elyte X Driver is the most forgiving Driver in the Elyte family and was specifically designed for golfers who want more support on off-center hits. This model excels in maximum forgiveness and helps keep the ball on the Fairway even on off-center hits. The Elyte X is “heel-weighted,” meaning the weight is positioned in the heel area of the clubhead. This design helps golfers who tend to slice the ball and promotes a Draw. Even in its neutral setting, the Elyte X already offers a slight Draw bias, making it a great choice for anyone looking for more consistency and straighter drives.
The Callaway Elyte Driver —without any additional name—is positioned as a versatile all-rounder within the Elyte family. It combines sporty performance with a high degree of forgiveness, making it a great option for a wide range of players. This Driver offers a balanced combination of ball speed, high launch, and low spin, making it a reliable choice for a variety of player types. The new “APW (Adjustable Perimeter Weight)” system allows you to choose between neutral, Fade, and Draw settings, making it easy to customize the Driver to your individual preferences.
Designed specifically to meet the needs of female golfers, the Callaway Elyte X Driver is also available in a women’s version. This model builds on the forgiving characteristics of the Elyte X but features specific adjustments to optimally accommodate the demands of women’s swings. The Elyte X Women’s Driver features a lighter shaft with a high flex. This configuration promotes an effortless ball launch, maximum swing speed, and—like the men’s model—supports a Draw bias to minimize Slice tendencies. The Elyte X Women’s Driver is designed for female golfers, senior players, or those with moderate swing speeds who are looking for a forgiving Driver with a light swing weight and Draw bias to gain more distance and directional control off the Tee.
