Callaway presents the Elyte Driver series at the start of the season. There are four new Driver models to cover the different levels of play, so that everyone gets their money's worth.
For strong golfers, Callaway has the Elyte Triple Diamond Driver ready, which is the sportiest model in the family and is designed for Performance. The most forgiving model, the Callaway Elyte X Driver, is available for those who do not always hit the clubface consistently in the middle. It is even designed to help with a particular miss. The Callaway Elyte Driver without the name suffix combines sporty demands with fault tolerance. The Elyte X is also available in a women's version with a lighter shaft and high flex.
In terms of technology, Callaway can attribute the improved performance compared to previous years' models to three main points: The "Termo Forged Carbon crown" (carbon crown of the club pressed under high pressure) is said to be even lighter and more precisely crafted than ever before. The designers in Carlsbad have been able to use the freed-up weight elsewhere. For example, to improve the bias for a certain trajectory or the fault tolerance (depending on the model). According to Callaway, the clubface should also be even more precise, which promises more consistent launch angles and spin rates. The third further development concerns the aerodynamics of the club head. The edges have become slightly softer and should therefore generate less air resistance. The simple formula behind this: Better aerodynamics promise more club head speed and therefore longer Drives.
The Callaway Elyte Triple Diamond is the option for golfers with high demands on performance. This model aims for maximum ball speed with low spin and delivers a neutral ball flight. Equipped with interchangeable weight screws, the Triple Diamond offers experienced players the opportunity to fine-tune spin and ball flight direction. The weights allow you to optimize the CG for more stability at the back or reduced spin at the front. Although designed at Tour level, the Callaway Triple Diamond Driver is surprisingly forgiving and therefore appeals not only to the best, but also to ambitious golfers with medium handicaps who want to benefit from lower spin and more control.
The Callaway Elyte X Driver is the most forgiving driver in the Elyte family and has been specially developed for golfers who want more support on off-center hits. This model shines with maximum forgiveness and helps to get the ball onto the Fairway even when hitting off the sweet spot. The Elyte X is "heel-weighted", which means that the weight is placed in the heel area of the club head. This construction supports golfers who tend to slice and promotes a draw. Even in the neutral setting, the Elyte X already offers a slight draw tendency and is therefore a recommendation for anyone looking for more consistency and straight drives.
The Callaway Elyte Driver without an additional name positions itself as a versatile all-rounder within the Elyte family. It combines sporty performance with a high degree of forgiveness, making it an option for a wide range of players. This Driver offers a balanced combination of ball speed, high launch and low spin, making it a reliable partner for a wide range of player types. The new "APW (Adjustable Perimeter Weight)" system allows you to choose between neutral, Fade and Draw settings, making it easy to customize the Driver to individual preferences.
Specially developed for the needs of female and male golfers, the Callaway Elyte X Driver also offers a women's version. This model is based on the forgiving characteristics of the Elyte X, but with specific adjustments to meet the requirements of ladies' swings. The Elyte X Driver for women is characterized by a lighter shaft with a high flex. This configuration promotes effortless ball launch, maximum swing speed and, like the men's model, supports a draw bias to minimize Slice tendencies. The Elyte X Ladies Driver is aimed at female golfers, senior golfers or players with more moderate swing speeds who are looking for a forgiving Driver with a light swing weight and Draw support to gain more length and directional control off the Tee.
