PowaKaddy is one of the world’s most renowned manufacturers of electric Trolleys and has unveiled its most ambitious compact model to date: the CT10 GPS EBS. The Trolley holds the title of the world’s smallest GPS electric Trolley—with folded dimensions of 51.0 x 42.5 x 32.5 cm and a weight of about 10.3 kg (without battery)—which is quite remarkable considering its range of built-in features.
The most striking feature of the CT10 is its new 3.5-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen—the largest in its class. It shows a full hole view, giving golfers—for the first time—a true overview of the entire hole right on the Trolley.
The GPS system boasts the fastest positioning times in its class and provides precise distances to greens and hazards. Three new features make navigation even more accurate: AGV (Active Green View) updates the green’s shape in real time, DFT (Drop Flag Technology) calculates the exact distance to the flag, and DAF (Directional Attack Function) helps golfers plan their strategic approach to the green. Also new is a multilingual user interface and automatic notifications for software updates via the PowaKaddy app.
The CT10 can do much more than just navigate. Golfers can choose between Stroke Play and Stableford, adjust their handicap percentage, and track their round with real statistics: fairway hits, greens in regulation (GIR), and putts are recorded hole by hole. A built-in timer helps locate lost balls—a small feature with great practical value.
Power is provided by a high-performance, virtually silent 30-volt, 230-watt motor. The XL lithium battery (260 WH) is based on revised nickel-cobalt-manganese technology and, according to the manufacturer, delivers 20% more power than the previous model—with a 40% reduction in size, without any loss of capacity. The second-generation Plug 'n' Play system allows for wireless docking without connectors; the battery can remain in the Trolley even when it is folded.
The CT10 plays another trump card, especially on hilly terrain: the EBS (Electronic Braking System). The self-sensing braking system automatically engages when the Trolley is on a slope—without any manual intervention by the golfer.
Anyone familiar with the previous models might wonder: What’s the difference? The CT6 EBS shares the frame, motor, and battery with the CT10, but does away with GPS entirely and offers only a smaller 2.8-inch display without a hole view. For golfers looking for a basic cart without digital extras, the CT6 is a solid choice at around 350 euros less.
The RX10 Remote GPS, on the other hand, positions itself as the flagship model with a rechargeable remote control—ideal for anyone who prefers to control the Trolley from a distance. However, it weighs about 14 kg, folds down to a significantly larger size, and costs about 350 euros more than the CT10. For those who don’t need remote operation, the CT10 offers nearly the same range of GPS features in a much more compact and lightweight design.
The PowaKaddy CT10 GPS EBS is a brilliantly designed electric Trolley that combines GPS navigation, smart scoring, and reliable driving performance in one of the most compact designs on the market. For golfers who view their Trolley as a true companion on the course and can do without remote control, the CT10—priced at €1,499.00—comes highly recommended—and offers a clearly better value for the money compared to the RX10.
