The BMW International Open 2026 is the golf highlight of the year in Germany. From July 1-5, 2026, the elite of the DP World Tour will gather at Golfclub München Eichenried to compete for a total prize purse of 2,750,000 euros at the 37th edition of the traditional tournament. Whether you want to buy tickets, look for the live stream or find out the starting times of the German stars - you can find all the information here.
The anticipation for the 2026 BMW International Open participants is huge, as three top German players have already confirmed their participation.
It will be particularly emotional for Stephan Jäger: the PGA Tour winner is returning to the course where he learned to play golf. After missing the 2025 edition due to the birth of his son, he now wants to shine in front of his home fans in Eichenried. He will be accompanied by Martin Kaymer, the only German winner to date (2008) and the youngest champion in the tournament's history. The trio is completed by Matti Schmid, who was the best German in 2025 in a tie for seventh place and wants to prove his strong form on the DP World Tour once again.
Marcel Siem is also a regular at the BMW International Open. His parents ran the club restaurant at Golfclub München-Eichenried in the 1990s. The now six-time DP World Tour winner therefore spent many hours on the course in the north of Munich in his youth.
If you want to experience world-class golf live, you should get your BMW International Open 2026 tickets early. The tournament is usually very well attended. in 2025, around 60,000 fans flocked to the Munich-Eichenried Golf Club over the course of the tournament week.
Discounts: Children up to the age of 14 enjoy free admission to the grounds (Pro-Am on Wednesday is free for all visitors). Pupils, students and people with disabilities receive a 50 percent discount.
BMW International Open tickets are available on the tournament's official website.

The BMW International Open leaderboard and Tee Times are always up to date here in the Greenfeed. The live scores are available from the first Putt at Golfclub München-Eicheried. The Tee Times of the first two rounds will be published on Tuesday before the start of the tournament. Tee times for the third and fourth rounds will be published in the evening after the end of the previous round.

The total prize money for the BMW International Open 2026 is 2,750,000 dollars. This puts the tournament in the "standard category" of the DP World Tour. The winner at Golfclub München-Eichenried will receive around 400,000 dollars in prize money as well as guaranteed eligibility for two more years on the Tour. Last year, England's Daniel Brown secured the prize money and tour card. Since the event was first held, the prize money has increased around tenfold. in 1989, a good 275,000 euros were paid out in total, with a good 64,000 euros going to the winner (David Feherty).
The tournament officially begins on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, with the popular BMW International Open Pro-Am. This is where professionals meet celebrities - a perfect opportunity to collect autographs in a relaxed atmosphere. In recent years, stars from the worlds of sport (Gareth Bale, Oliver Bierhoff, Philip Kohlschreiber), film (Kai Wiesinger, Kostja Ullmann) and art (Paul Ripke) have taken part.
The DP World Tour tournament will then begin on Thursday, July 2, 2026. The first tee-off will take place at around 7.30 in the morning. The start will be from the 1st and 10th tees. This also applies to the 2nd round of the BMW International Open, which will take place on Friday (July 3, 2026). On Saturday and Sunday, the start will then only be from the 1st Tee, as only the 65 best players (and shared) will be allowed to start the round after the cut. In most cases, the starting shot for the day is fired a little later than in the first two rounds.

For all fans who cannot be on site at the Munich Eichenried Golf Club, there are extensive options for following the BMW International Open live.
In Germany, MagentaTV holds the broadcasting rights to the DP World Tour and will be showing the tournament in its entirety. In addition, there will probably again be daily live windows on free TV. If you want to watch on mobile, you should look out for the BMW International Open livestream on Magenta Sport or on the official organizer's website. In France, Canal+ broadcasts the PGA Tour. In many other European countries, Sky is a partner of the European circuit.
The organizers rely on a sustainable mobility concept. Take advantage of the free shuttle bus service that runs from Thursday to Sunday between Ismaning S-Bahn station and the tournament grounds. Free parking spaces are available for car drivers directly on the grounds (weather permitting).
