No fewer than 15 German players will be competing at the Amundi German Masters - more than ever before. Special attention will be paid to:
Alexandra Försterling is the defending champion from 2024 and celebrated her fourth LET title back then in Berlin - in a play-off against Emma Spitz thanks to a Birdie on the second extra hole. in 2026, she tees off in Flight 25 from 13:04 on hole 1.
Esther Henseleit, one of the most experienced German players on Tour, is the good spirit behind the Junior Qualifier, which has enabled 15-year-old Lucia Fohrmann to qualify. Henseleit will start in Flight 14 from 8:04 a.m. on hole 10.
At the age of 15,Lucia Fohrmann from GC Starnberg is the discovery of the tournament. She played her way into the international professional field via the Amundi German Masters Junior Qualifier by Esther Henseleit and will be competing as an amateur in flight 10 from 9:28 a.m. on lane 1.
Helen Briem was the crowd favorite in 2025: As runner-up, she thrilled around 12,500 fans on the course. in 2026, she will be competing in Flight 24 from 12:52 on lane 1 - once again hot on the heels of a top result.
Chiara Noja, one of the youngest LET winners in history, starts in Flight 33 from 14:40 on lane 1 and is also one of the extended favorites.
All 15 German starters: Esther Henseleit, Alexandra Försterling, Helen Briem, Sophie Witt, Hannah Karg, Lucia Fohrmann (Am.), Chiara Horder, Sophie Hausmann, Laura Fünfstück, Patricia-Isabel Schmidt, Verena Gimmy, Carolin Kauffmann, Leonie Harm, Celina Sattelkau and Chiara Noja.
Shannon Tan is the woman of the moment. The Singaporean is not only defending her title from the previous year, but also arrives as one of the top favorites as the 2025 season winner and with another LET victory behind her in the fall of 2025 (India). Her tee time in Round 1: Flight 13 on lane 10 from 7:52 a.m. as Shannon Tan (*).
Seven LET winners from the 2025 season are represented: Casandra Alexander, Laura Fünfstück, Darcey Harry, Alice Hewson, Anna Huang, Sara Kouskova and Shannon Tan. There are also three title winners from the current 2026 season: Kelsey Bennett, Esme Hamilton and Smilla Tarning Sønderbý. A total of 18 rookies complete a top-class field.

The North Course (Par 73) of the Green Eagle Golf Courses in Winsen (Luhe) is no ordinary golf course. At almost 6,000 meters in length, it is one of the longest courses on the Ladies European Tour - and according to the official course rating of the German Golf Association (DGV), it is considered the most difficult course in Germany. No wonder the players affectionately call it the "Green Monster".
The course was designed by founder and owner Michael Blesch and opened in 2008. Its trademark: extremely undulating greens and ubiquitous water hazards. No fewer than 17 of the 18 holes feature a water hazard - a permanent sword of Damocles for the Scorecard. The course record is 66 strokes, set by Thalia Martin from England.
Incidentally, the course is not new to international professional golf: the Green Eagle Golf Courses regularly hosted the European Open of the men's DP World Tour from 2017 to 2024.
Anyone wishing to experience the Amundi German Masters live on site will find free parking and free camping pitches on the grounds. The ticket counters open daily from 7 am.
Important: Children and young people under the age of 18 enjoy free admission on all tournament days. On Thursday, May 14 (Father's Day), fathers and their children will also have free access to the grounds.
If you can't be there, you can follow the tournament via livestream:
A player locator is also available on the tournament website, which shows the location of all players on the course, the current leaderboard, video highlights and a map of the course in real time.
Since its premiere in 2022, the Amundi German Masters powered by VcG has established itself as one of the most popular tournaments on the entire Ladies European Tour. Winners such as Maja Stark, Kristyna Napoleaova, Alexandra Försterling and Shannon Tan have left their mark on the tournament - and year after year, strong German performances provide additional excitement.
in 2026, the fifth edition once again promises everything that makes for great golf: a strong international field, a challenging course, passionate fans and plenty of drama on the greens.
