The Korn Ferry Tour: Important springboard for the PGA Tour

The tournament series was once called Satellite Tour, but now, after a few name changes, the sponsorship title Korn Ferry Tour has prevailed. This is a second-level tour where you can qualify for the North American top level PGA tour. This means that if players are not yet granted access to the PGA Tour, they have the opportunity to prove their skills and earn the tour card they need. Only the best golfers from the Korn Ferry Tour Finals will receive one of the coveted tickets for the next season. In the green feed, you can follow all Korn Ferry Tour tournaments live, search the leaderboards and score cards, and study the tee times before the tournaments.

Things worth knowing about the Korn Ferry Tour

The Korn Ferry Tour is aimed at all male professional golfers. It was named after the internationally active company of the same name, which is based in Los Angeles and specializes in executive search and talent management consulting. Korn/Ferry International has been sponsoring the tour since 2020. In 2025, the total Korn Ferry Tour prize money is 28 million US dollars. A payout of 550,000 to 800,000 US dollars is planned for the first 24 tournaments, and the three final tournaments will receive prize money of one million US dollars each. However, it is not only the relatively high prize money that is interesting for golfers: The tour finals in particular, at which the final decision on the awarding of PGA Tour game rights is extremely attractive.

Diverse venues not only in the USA

Unlike the DP World Tour, which has established itself not only as a European but as a global tournament, the venues of the Korn Ferry Tour are mainly in the USA, but also partly in South America and the Caribbean. Some examples include Ohio and Indiana, as well as Columbia, Mexico, and the Bahamas. Until 2028, the annual season-ending tournament will take place on the Pete Dye Course at the French Lick Resort. It is not only known for its attractive landscape and legendary panoramic views, but also for its sophisticated design. The complex was designed by world-famous golf architect Pete Dye.
