The WTGL (Women's Team Golf League) has announced six additional LPGA players for its debut season and unveiled its brand identity. The new women's team golf platform was developed by TMRW Sports in partnership with the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). The first season is scheduled to start later in 2026 at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens (Florida).
Celine Boutier, Danielle Kang, Megan Khang, Andrea Lee, Minjee Lee and Albane Valenzuela are new to the field of participants. The current WTGL squad therefore comprises 14 players, including five players from the top 10 of the world rankings. In total, the field represents eight countries, has 92 LPGA Tour victories and 12 Major titles.
TMRW Sports sees the WTGL as a growing platform for women's team golf. Pete Jung (Chief Marketing Officer, TMRW Sports) explained in the press release:
"The WTGL continues to gain momentum as a global platform for LPGA stars and women's team golf," said Pete Jung, Chief Marketing Officer of TMRW Sports. "With today's brand unveiling and now 14 LPGA Tour players already signed up - including Major winners, Olympians and Solheim Cup players from around the world - this milestone underscores the strong interest we are seeing from players, team ownership groups and potential partners as we prepare for the WTGL's inaugural season."

The latest announcement adds six players to the roster who are already established both in the sport and in international competition:
In addition to the personnel details, the press release lists several planned core elements that will shape the content of the WTGL. These include, among others:
The WTGL is thus positioning itself as a team format in which not only the result, but also speed, communication and data-based presentation play a role.

Parallel to the squad expansion, the WTGL presented its new logo (see tweet above). In the announcement, it is described as a modern, self-confident trademark that is intended to reflect the energy and dynamism of women's team golf while remaining visibly linked to the TGL. The integration of the TGL wordmark is intended to emphasize the connection between the two leagues, their teams and the fast-paced style of competition. The logo was unveiled at a player event on Monday at the LPGA Tour's Mizuho Americas Open.
Concrete key points are now also known at an organizational level: Arthur M. Blank (AMB Sports and Entertainment) and Alexis Ohanian (Los Angeles Golf Club) were previously announced as the first team owners. Alex Morgan's Trybe Ventures is also named as the "lead capital partner".
Further details - including additional ownership groups, team rosters, media partners and sponsors - are to follow in the coming months.
