The new Titleist Velocity golf ball has been fundamentally redesigned for 2026 to give golfers even more distance with every shot. The impressive performance of the new generation is based on an innovative high-speed design. The Titleist development teams have made the core of the Titleist Velocity golf ball softer, which—in combination with a new material composition—drastically reduces spin on long shots.
At the same time, a faster ionomer cover ensures increased ball speed. “In combination with the firmer cover, we achieve a dual effect: less spin and more speed,” explains Mike Madson, Senior Vice President of Titleist Golf Ball Research. A redesigned 350-octahedron dimple pattern also delivers a penetrating, flatter ball flight, making the Titleist Velocity golf ball even less susceptible to wind.
