Enter a world where golf history is being written. In the Scottish Highlands, surrounded by the mystique of Loch Ness, an exclusive experience awaits you: the chance to play Tom Doak's Old Petty Course before it officially opens. A rare opportunity to experience an untouched masterpiece and be part of an exclusive circle of golfers discovering this exceptional course.
American Tom Doak is one of the most renowned golf course architects in the world. So far, his design skills have only been experienced on one course in Europe, the Grand Saint-Emilion Golf Club in France. From August, the master designer's second course in Europe will be waiting for its first guests. In the north of Scotland, close to the city of Inverness and the famous Loch Ness, lies the Cabot Highlands resort, part of the Canadian Cabot Group. The first course, Castle Stuart by Gil Hanse, has already won several awards and is one of the top 100 courses in the world. Phil Mickelson won the Scottish Open on this course in 2013. As part of the preview play, i.e. a round of golf before the official opening, selected All4Golf customers now have the opportunity to play these two top courses - and of course to enjoy a bit of the Scottish way of life.
Day 1 (13.08.2025): Arrival and Whisky Experience
Arrival at Frankfurt airport on your own.
Morning flight with British Airways with a change of planes in London to Inverness. On the transfer from the airport to the hotel, you will be welcomed to Scotland with a whisky experience including tasting. Then check into your room at the Hotel Ramnee in Forres for three nights. You will have dinner together at the hotel.
Day 2 (14.08.2025): Castle Stuart Golf Links
After breakfast, drive to the Cabot Highlands golf course for the first round of golf on the Castle Stuart Golf Links with tee times between 10 and 11 am. Gil Hanse's Top 100 course is a classic links course and a challenge in every respect. The rapid weather changes in the north of Scotland are also famous - even in summer it is not impossible that you will experience all four seasons on your round, but at no extra cost...
In the afternoon, drive back to the hotel and time to freshen up. In the evening, drive to a traditional pub for dinner and then back to the hotel.
Day 3 (15.08.2025): Old Petty Golf Course
After breakfast, drive to the Old Petty golf course for a second round of golf with tee times between 12 and 1 pm. This makes you one of the first golfers in the world to be able to explore this masterpiece by Tom Doak, as the so-called Preview Players is only open to a few golfers - the official opening of the course is not expected until next year. Preview Players means that the course has already been designed and grown in, but facilities such as the planned separate clubhouse or a halfway house are not yet available or only available to a limited extent. However, you can use all the facilities of the architecturally exceptional clubhouse of the Castle Stuart course.
Followed by a farewell party with dinner at the golf club. Departure to the hotel in the evening.
Day 4 (16.08.2025): Journey home
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Inverness. You will fly with British Airways from Inverness back to Frankfurt, changing planes in London.
Departure from the airport in Frankfurt to your home town is at your own risk.
