The new 3.0 generation of Flat Cat brings a breath of fresh air to the world of electric golf carts. Four models, one common goal: reliable technology, well-thought-out features, and a riding experience that makes every round easier for golfers. Whether it’s a comfortable entry-level model or a high-tech flagship—the current lineup has the right model for every type of player. We’ll introduce all four.
Carry, pull, or push: What difference does it really make?
If you’re looking for an electric cart that works without any fuss, the Flat Cat Go 3.0 is a reliable companion. Operation is as simple as two buttons: one for start and stop, and one for speed control. That’s all it takes to guide the Go 3.0 safely and comfortably across the course.
Under the hood, two 90-watt DC motors provide ample power even on hilly terrain. The lithium iron phosphate battery is designed for a range of up to 27 holes and fully charges in about three hours. Weighing just 7.8 kilograms, the Go 3.0 is the lightest in the lineup—an advantage when transporting it and maneuvering it on the course.
The Go 3.0 is the right choice for golfers who want to switch to an electric cart and are looking for reliability and simplicity. Starting at €1,799
The Flat Cat Gear 3.0 is designed for players who want more control without having to move up to the high-end segment. At the heart of the system is a stepless rotary control that regulates speed precisely and sensitively. A convenient memory speed function saves your preferred speed and restores it at the push of a button—especially convenient on long, even Fairways.
This is complemented by a distance assistant that allows the Trolley to automatically travel a short distance at the push of a button—for example, when you need to walk around a Bunker yourself. The motor technology is the same as that of the Go 3.0, but the Gear 3.0 features a larger 8.0-Ah battery with a range of up to 36 holes—enough for even the most demanding round.
If you’re looking for power, control, and intuitive operation at a fair price, the Gear 3.0 is the right choice.
The Flat Cat Ahead 3.0 takes the interaction between the golfer and the Trolley to a whole new level. At its heart is an integrated proximity sensor that automatically keeps the Trolley at a safe distance and adjusts its speed to match the golfer’s individual stride—whether going uphill or downhill. Alternatively, you can use the remote control with a range of up to 50 meters or control it the traditional way with a rotary knob.
Additional safety is provided by the combination of a mechanical parking brake and an electronic downhill brake—a system that reliably keeps the Trolley under control even on sloped terrain. A limited-slip differential helps maintain stable straight-line tracking, while magnetic straps secure the golf bag quickly and effortlessly. The 8.0-Ah battery provides enough range for up to 36 holes.
The Ahead 3.0 is the choice for golfers seeking state-of-the-art sensor technology and maximum riding comfort—while still wanting to maintain control.
The Flat Cat Touch 3.0 is the most technically sophisticated model of the 3.0 generation—and at the same time the one with the most intuitive operating concept. A single, gentle swipe of the finger across the touch sensor is all it takes to set the Trolley in motion seamlessly. No buttons, no controls, no distractions. The two maintenance-free wheel hub motors run almost silently—a clear advantage for anyone who values peace and concentration on the course.
Anyone who experiences the Touch 3.0 in action will quickly come to appreciate the multicolor LED feedback system: It provides real-time information on operating status, battery level, selected driving mode, and active distance functions. Here, light speaks instead of sounds—discreetly and precisely. In addition, there are three distance functions (20, 30, and 200 meters) as well as two riding modes (Standard and Sport), which vary the motors’ responsiveness.
In terms of construction, Flat Cat’s Touch 3.0 features a titanium-aluminum hybrid frame with glass-fiber-reinforced components—the heaviest, yet also the stiffest and highest-quality chassis in the lineup. Magnetic straps, an electronic downhill brake, a freewheel function, and a premium fast charger round out the package . If you’d like to learn more about the technical details and how it compares to its predecessor, the Touch 2.0, you’ll find a detailed technical review already available on Greenfeed.
The Touch 3.0 is the right model for golfers who don’t want to compromise on their Trolley—neither in terms of ease of use nor build quality.
As different as the control concepts of the four models may be, they all have one thing in common: For the entire 3.0 generation, Flat Cat relies on lithium iron phosphate batteries (UN 38.3-certified), which can be fully charged in about three hours. The worldwide-compatible fast charger (24 V, 100–240 V) comes standard with all four models. Also standard: the height-adjustable Easy-Fix handle, the adjustable bag mount, a USB port for a GPS device or smartphone, and a sturdy aluminum-GFK frame with a payload capacity of up to 40 kilograms. Quality and durability aren’t just for the flagship model—they’re a hallmark of the entire lineup.
