Titleist has expanded its golf club product range and presents two new iron lines: the revised T-Series and the brand-new T250•U and U•505 utility irons. The aim of these developments is to offer golfers of all levels improved ball flight curves, higher ball speeds and maximum impact consistency, both from the tee and when hitting the green.
The new Titleist T-Series comprises the next generation of the T100, T150 and T350 models as well as the completely new T250 model and its T250 Launch Spec variant. The development of these irons was based on comprehensive feedback from tour players, ambitious amateurs and fitters worldwide. The overall design goals were to improve ball start for long irons, smoother spin rates for medium and short irons, and consistent stroke distances across the entire set.
Titleist follows the “three D's” philosophy when it comes to individual adjustment: Distance Control, Dispersion Control and Angle of Descent (landing angle).
The T100 is designed as a forged multi-material club head and offers precision, feel and improved performance. What is new is a “muscle channel” in irons 3 and 4, which is intended to improve ball launch and flight altitude. The revised “Variable Face Thickness” design and a lower center of gravity contribute to tighter distribution. The more angular, steeply cut grooves of the medium to short irons are intended to stabilize spin rates even from rough or when wet and thus provide more control. Based on feedback from PGA Tour and LPGA players, the T100 lofts have been adjusted one degree stronger (33 degrees on the 7-iron) than the previous generation to ensure excellent playability for golfers of all levels. Since its introduction in 2019, the T100 has been the most-played iron model on the PGA TOUR.
The T150 positions itself as a “faster player iron” and is intended to combine exceptional feel, stability and control with more ball speed and higher launch. The profile is slightly larger than that of the T100, which should give a confidence-inspiring feeling when speaking. It shares many improvements with the T100, such as the progressive grooves and the VFT design, but features stronger lofts and an improved muscle channel from the 7-iron onwards for more speed and higher trajectories.
The T250 has been extensively redesigned (formerly T200) and offers a combination of speed, steeper departure angle and fault tolerance. It has a high-quality look with a new solid steel construction and a wider sole.
The new T250•U and U•505 utility irons complement the T-Series and set new standards in ball flight, speed and stability. They are designed as distance rackets that allow the ball to start high and offer high fault tolerance and stability.
T250•U
This utility iron is based on the same construction and technology as the new T250 irons and features the same profile and loft progression. It is more compact than the U•505 and is available as Irons 2, 3 and 4.
U•505
The Titleist U•505 is available as iron 1, 2, 3 and 4 and has a larger club head, which should make the ball start even higher than the T250•U. The new generation features a progressive design: wider soles and lower playing surfaces in the strong lofts, narrower soles and higher hitting surfaces in the higher lofts — for ideal flight curves and playability. In particular, the shape adjustments to the U•505 irons 3 and 4 were inspired by tour professionals. Both utility models have “Players-preferred” profiles with minimal offset and can be seamlessly integrated into mixed sets.
The new T-series irons and utility irons T250•U and U•505 will be available for fittings and pre-orders from July 10, 2025. The T-Series will be available in stores worldwide from August 21.
