With the Gazelle Golf and Retrocross 25 models, Adidas has launched two spikeless golf shoes that combine retro design with golf-ready performance. Both shoes are hybrid models designed to deliver performance on the course and everyday practicality off the course. The same goes for the design: a sporty aesthetic and classic retro look are just as suitable for the golf course as they are for everyday life.
The Adidas Retrocross 25 combines classic, tennis-inspired retro style with performance and sustainability. The leather upper offers a high-quality aesthetic. It’s designed for golfers looking for a shoe that looks great both on and off the course. The ultra-lightweight cushioning (“Lightstrike”) is designed to ensure high comfort throughout the entire round. The spikeless, studded outsole (“Traxion and Adiwear”) provides grip on grass without compromising everyday wearability. A key feature is the high percentage of recycled materials (at least 70%), making it the go-to choice for environmentally conscious golfers.
The Gazelle Golf directly draws on the familiar silhouette of the classic Gazelle sneaker. The synthetic upper is waterproof and made from 50 percent recycled materials. While the Retrocross 25 is listed as having a regular fit, the Gazelle Golf follows the familiar shape of the original sneaker. The sole features a studded pattern, but differs from the standard pattern of the Retrocross 25.
