Bernhard Langer has done it: the German golf legend dominated the action at the WINSTONgolf Senior Open 2025 from the opening round to the final and crowned his performance with a tournament record of 21 under Par. The 68-year-old played a strong round of 66 and left nothing to be desired on the final day. With a concentrated, precise game and strong nerves, he secured victory with aplomb.
"I'm delighted that I was finally able to win here at WINSTONgolf," said an exuberant Bernhard Langer at the award ceremony. "The course was in excellent condition. I have rarely holed as many putts as I did this week. One of my goals is to play below my age, and I actually managed that three times this week. The good thing is that it's getting easier and easier!"

Tournament Director Stefanie Merchel was also overwhelmed: "It was our dream to be able to celebrate Bernhard Langer as the winner here. We always hoped for it, but we didn't want to shout it when things looked so good on Friday and Saturday. Now, of course, we are all the more delighted that it worked out and that our WINSTONgolf ambassador was able to give the whole weekend the crowning glory."
Patrick Sjöland (-15) and Matthew Cort (-14) completed the podium behind Langer. From a German perspective, Thomas Gögele (-8, tied 10th place) and Christoph Günther (-6, tied 18th place) rounded off a successful weekend for German golf with strong performances.
The spectators experienced three days of golf at the highest level - in the best late summer weather, in an informal atmosphere and with an emotional climax that only a living legend like Bernhard Langer can provide.
