On February 5, 2026, Wilson is expanding its range with the new DYNAPWR Forged Irons. The traditional brand promises a symbiosis of the unmistakable feel of a forged club and the explosive distance of modern distance irons. We have the details on the new release.
When Wilson reactivates the name "DYNAPWR", expectations are high. With the new DYNAPWR Forged model, the manufacturer is now targeting players who are looking for precision and feedback without sacrificing support for ball speed. The result is a "Players Distance" Iron that impresses with artificial intelligence (AI) and high-quality carbon steel.
The heart of the new irons is the clubface developed using AI simulation. Wilson uses this technology to perfect the Variable Face Thickness (variable thickness of the face). By optimizing the thickness of the face, maximum flexion is achieved at ball contact.
This is particularly interesting for golfers who do not always hit the ball centrally: The design of the clubface ensures increased energy transfer for more distance and speed. The construction is designed to ensure that the sole and clubface work efficiently in harmony.
Despite the focus on distance, Wilson remains true to its roots. The body and face are made of forged 8620 carbon steel. This material is considered particularly soft and offers players immediate feedback as well as good workability at impact.
To further minimize vibrations and optimize the sound, the so-called TE-031 urethane filling is used in the cavity. This combination ensures a full, responsive feel and an improved sound at ball contact.
For whom is the new model the right choice? While the standard DYNAPWR Iron is a classic "game improvement" club model, the Forged version is aimed at more experienced players.
The Wilson DYNAPWR Forged Irons will be available to pre-order from All4Golf from February 5, 2026. As standard, they are supplied with the KBS Tour Lite steel shaft or the UST Recoil Dart HDC graphite shaft for men and women. Thanks to extensive custom options, the set can be customized in terms of loft, lie and length to get the most out of the new technology.
