JJ Spaun wrote himself into the history books of golfwith his first major victory at the US Open 2025 . His Putt to win from almost 20 meters will be remembered for a long time to come. Even the direct competition applauded spontaneously and celebrated the monster Putter with which the American crowned himself champion of the 125th US Open. It was not only the first major success for the 34-year-old himself, but also for the manufacturer of his Putter. L.A.B Golf is not one of the major equipment suppliers on the PGA Tour, but has only equipped individual players with its products. However, the putter specialists do not manufacture any other golf clubs either.
However, the L.A.B. Golf DF3 Putter is now likely to attract the attention of many golfers. The zero-torque model has been with Spaun for several months and he already had nothing but good things to say about it at the Players Championship: "There's no tampering because it's a zero-torque putter. It's important to set it to the right lie angle and so on, because it's balanced on the lie angle and that's the whole science behind it. It's been really good for me lately and hopefully it will continue to do what it's supposed to do." At least he did at Oakmont Country Club.
Otherwise, the US Open winner's bag features other different brands, with Srixon and subsidiary brand Cleveland dominating the irons and wedges. Spaun uses various manufacturers for the woods. For the Driver, he relies on the Titleist GT3. The Fairwaywoods come from TaylorMade's Qi10 series, so they are not the latest models. In the table below you will find all the golf clubs used by JJ Spaun at the US Open.
