In the 2026 golf season, Skechers is increasingly focusing on the combination of ergonomic support and technical ease of putting on. With a total of six new models - four for men and two for women - the brand is massively expanding its "Hands Free" strategy in golf. We have analyzed the technological innovations and the specific features of the collection.
The most striking trend in the new collection is the comprehensive integration of Hands Free Slip-ins technology. What began in the lifestyle sector is now also designed to increase comfort on the Fairway. Thanks to a reinforced heel construction, the so-called Heel Pillow, golfers can slip into the shoe without using their hands or a shoehorn.
This mechanical comfort is complemented by the proven Arch Fit System. According to the manufacturer, this insole is based on over 20 years of experience and thousands of foot scans to provide podiatry-certified arch support. A dual cushioning system provides energy return when walking and during the swing: the ECO FLIGHT midsole (with at least 10% recycled material) and the particularly responsive HYPER BURST PRO insole.
The 2026 men's collection is clearly divided into two categories: Performance-oriented Spikes shoes and versatile Spikeless models.
For players looking for maximum traction even in difficult ground conditions or at high swing speeds, Skechers offers the GO GOLF Prestige and the Blade Tour. Both models rely on the tried-and-tested Tour Flex Pro Softspikes.
The Pure SI and Flow SL models dispense with classic Spikes and use a TPU traction sole instead.
The two women's models presented reflect the technological range of the men's models, but are specifically adapted in terms of fit and design.
The Flow SL Twist model for women adopts the mechanical precision of the twist closure. This is particularly advantageous for players who are looking for a constant fixation of the midfoot during the round without having to re-lace.
The Pure SL for women, on the other hand, relies on a combination of lightweight mesh upper material and stabilizing TPU overlays. A special feature here are the S-Wing clips on the outsole, which are designed to provide the necessary torsional rigidity on impact despite the spikeless construction.
Weather protection is a relevant factor for year-round use. All six models are declared waterproof and come with a one-year waterproof guarantee. Skechers relies primarily on synthetic materials such as Clarino or coated mesh, which are easier to care for than classic leather and retain their shape even after coming into contact with moisture.
The 2026 models from Skechers are clearly positioned on the theme of "Ease of Use". Anyone who has problems bending over when getting dressed or is dependent on orthopaedic support will find technologically sophisticated solutions here. While the Spikes models (Prestige/Blade Tour) bridge the gap to classic Performance golf, the Spikes versions with a twist lock (Flow SL) serve the trend towards greater comfort and modern handling on the course.
