Justin Timberlake is not only an entertainment superstar, but also a passionate golfer. The 44-year-old maintains a single handicap, regularly competes in the PGA Tour's Pebble Beach ProAm and in 2007 even bought and rebuilt the golf course where he once played many rounds with his father as a child.
So it's only natural that the singer, who is married to actress Jessica Biel, has now launched his own golf shoe. In partnership with Nike , a special collection of the Victory Tour 4 model has been released, which you can purchase exclusively at All4Golf. It's worth being quick, because only 1981 pairs of the "Coffee"-christened "kicks" are available worldwide. The number of pieces is a reminiscence of the year Timberlake was born. The shoes will be available exclusively from All4Golf in Germany from May 1 for 499.99 euros.
The fine pieces were made in Montebelluna, Italy, a city known for its craftsmanship. The shoes are made of leather and suede in a soft brown tone. The "Swoosh" is drawn in soft pink with a color gradient and is reminiscent of a sunrise. Coffee, sun, golf - sounds like a perfect morning!
The insoles are also made of cork, reminiscent of coasters. The morning theme is also picked up on the tongue. The shoe is adorned with rays of sunshine and a cup. There is also the inscription "Raggio di Sole", which means "ray of sunshine". Timberlake's signature can be found on the inside of the tongue. A carbon plate ("flyplate") is built into the sole, which is designed to bend when running but remain rigid when swinging. Softspikes are located on the underside.
In keeping with the design theme, the new "Coffee" was presented at the 8AM Invitational in Las Vegas, where all kinds of celebrities met early in the morning to tee off. In the new shoes from Justin Timberlake and Nike, of course.
