Cobra DS-Adapt Driver: 33 fitting options for maximum Performance

Cobra Golf presents the new DS-Adapt Driver series, consisting of four models: DS-Adapt LS, DS-Adapt X, DS-Adapt Max-K and DS-Adapt Max-D. The drivers are characterized by the innovative Futurefit33 Adjustable Hosel System, which allows 33 different loft and lie settings and thus offers unprecedented adaptability.

The technical innovations of the Cobra DS-Adapt Driver series

The DS-Adapt Driver series is equipped with a number of technical innovations aimed at optimizing performance for golfers of all levels:

-Futurefit33 Adjustable Hosel System: this new hosel system allows for 33 individual loft and lie settings that can be quickly and easily adjusted. Cobra's patented Smartpad technology is designed to ensure that the clubface is always straight, regardless of the settings.

-Progressive Aero Shaping: The aerodynamic shaping of the Driver has been optimized to reduce drag and increase club and ball speed. Each model has a specific shaping that is tailored to the needs of the respective target group.

-Adaptive Weighting System: The model and loft-specific weighting enables individual adjustment of spin, ball launch and forgiveness. The LS and X models also have external, movable weights.

-Multi-material construction: The lightweight carbon crown and sole as well as the titanium frame are designed to ensure optimum weight distribution and stability.

-H.O.T. Face Technology: The larger, forged face insert with H.O.T. Face Technology increases the so-called CT value (Characteristic Time). This value describes the contact time of the ball on the clubface. The longer the ball remains on the clubface, the higher the energy transfer and the more distance can be achieved. The H.O.T. Face technology optimizes this value, especially for off-center hits, and thus ensures more consistency and distance.

-10K MOI (Max-K): The Max-K model has an extremely high moment of inertia (MOI) of 10K, which ensures maximum fault tolerance and consistency.

The Cobra DS-Adapt Driver models in detail

The Cobra DS-Adapt LS: was developed for players with a high swing speed who want a low spin rate and maximum control. The club head has a compact profile (445cc) and an aerodynamic shape. Thanks to a movable weight, further basic settings can be customized.

Cobra DS-Adapt X Driver

The model for the broadest target group in the Cobra DS-Adapt series should be the "X" version. Suitable for a wide range of handicaps and playing strengths, it offers a balanced combination of speed and forgiveness. The club head has a traditional profile (460cc). Apart from the low-spin model, the X-Driver is the only one with a movable weight.

Cobra DS-Adapt Max-K Driver

The Cobra DS-Adapt Max-K Driver offers one thing above all: maximum forgiveness. Thanks to the high moment of inertia, it should be particularly supportive and also help off-centered balls to achieve decent lengths and stable trajectories. For more confidence in the address position, this model comes with a slightly oversized profile, even though it is no larger than the DS-Adapt X (both 460cc)

Cobra DS-Adapt Max-D Driver

The Cobra DS-Adapt Max-D Driver also offers a very high fault tolerance. Its oversize club head (460cc) is designed to make hitting the ball even easier. The model is aimed at a special, but not exactly small target group: Slice players. The Driver has an inherent Draw tendency and a heel-heavy center of gravity.

The Cobra DS-Adapt Driver series is available for men, women and juniors. The women's models feature a glossy black design with champagne color accents. The junior edition of the Max-K Driver is available in different lengths and flex options.
