TaylorMade presents the Qi35 series, the successor to the Qi10 club family. Four different models are designed to satisfy all types of players. In addition, each model, whether low-spin version or max version, can be further customized to provide the greatest possible flexibility to satisfy all customers. There is also a further option for three of the four models, the Designer Series, which is intended to offer more visual variety than the black and gray carbon heads, which stand out in particular due to their striking lines.
As with the previous series, the TaylorMade Qi35 Driver models are also offered with a focus on high forgiveness. The range includes: Qi35, Qi35 Max, Qi35 LS, Qi35Max Lite and the designer versions of the first three. In addition to movable weights in some models, it is above all the four-degree adjustable loft (in both directions) in all clubs that makes the Qi35 family a customizable Driver.
The new products have taken their name from their predecessors: So the "Quest For Inertia" (Qi) is not over yet, even though the "quest for inertia" was already at the maximum allowed by the rule keepers last year. A high moment of inertia leads to a more stable behavior of the club head and thus to a higher forgiveness. With the TaylorMadeQi35 series, the team led by Driver chief developer Andrew Oldknow has now meticulously focused on weight distribution in the club head and shifted the center of gravity further down relative to the club face. As a result, TaylorMade promises that a larger area of the clubface will lead to more length and spin rates than ever before.
The TaylorMade Qi35 (no suffix) is the all-round model in the family. It offers a balance of forgiveness and length and can also be adjusted in one direction or the other using sliding weights. Depending on how you place the 13 gram weight in the club head, it will lead to less spin and more distance in the shot, or help to reduce dispersion.
The TaylorMade Qi35 Max manages without adjustable weights. In favor of stability and fault tolerance, as much weight as possible has been moved to the back so that players with higher handicaps in particular receive maximum support.
The TaylorMade Qi35 LS (Low Spin) is the Driver variant for low handicaps and Tour players. The moment of inertia is significantly lower than the other models and is therefore less forgiving. On the other hand, the Qi35 LS can be used to hit every conceivable trajectory and players who use this variant are in full control of their game. The movable 13 gram weight can generate even less spin and more length when set right at the front. If you set it right at the back, it increases the margin of error.
In addition to the TaylorMade Qi35 Max, there is now an even lighter model that is explicitly aimed at people with low swing speeds. The simple idea: if you have to move less mass, you can develop more speed. The Qi35 Max Lite is even available in two versions, whereby the women's version is equipped with an even lighter shaft than the men's version. Otherwise, the drivers are identical.
