With the Gazelle Golf and Retrocross 25 models, Adidas has launched two spikeless golf shoes that combine retro design with golf-ready performance. Both shoes are hybrid models that aim to offer performance on the course and suitability for everyday use off the course. The same applies to the design: sporty looks and a classic retro look are just as suitable for the golf course as they are for everyday life.
The Adidas Retrocross 25 combines classic, tennis-inspired retro style with performance and sustainability. The leather upper offers a premium aesthetic. It is designed for golfers looking for a shoe that looks good both on and off the course. The very light cushioning ("Lightstrike") should ensure a high level of comfort over the entire round. The studless, studded outsole ("Traxion and Adiwear") ensures grip on grass without compromising suitability for everyday use. A special feature is the high proportion of recycled materials (at least 70%), which makes it the choice for environmentally conscious golfers.
The Gazelle Golf directly adapts the well-known silhouette of the classic Gazelle sneaker. The synthetic upper is waterproof and made from 50 percent recycled materials. While the fit of the Retrocross 25 is specified as regular, that of the Gazelle Golf follows the familiar shape of the original sneaker. The sole is studded, but differs in pattern from the regular sorting of the Retrocross 25.
