Golf clothing for the fall and winter season faces the challenge of providing warmth and protection without restricting the essential freedom of movement during the swing. The new 2025/2026 collection from Puma Golf meets this requirement through the consistent use of functional hybrid materials and proven Performance technologies.
Puma is focusing heavily on two key innovations in the current season, which are used in most of the selected products for men and women:
The collection places great emphasis on thelayering principle, with each garment fulfilling specific functions: Products such as the Kyley Quilted Vest (women) and the Hielands Vest (men) integrate high-quality PrimaLoft insulation and a water-repellent outer material. This construction provides effective protection against cold and moisture, while flexible stretch side inserts maintain freedom of movement in the shoulder area. The men's version also features CLOUDSPUN WRMLBL technology, a heavier version of CLOUDSPUN fabric that enhances the insulation properties.
One example of a well thought-out Hybrid design is the Cloudspun Fleece Hybrid Jacket (women). It combines a sleeveless design for optimum arm freedom with a quilted front that provides targeted additional warmth in the torso area.
The first layer (baselayer) is the Cloudspun Tech Baselayer (men), which forms the basis for moisture transport with its ultra-soft CLOUDSPUN technology and dryCELL function. The Cloudspun Midweight Longsleeve Polo (women) also relies on the soft feel and combines it with a medium-weight fabric (255 gsm), which serves as a warming mid-layer.
The pants models are designed for unrestricted dynamics. The Costa trousers (women) use four-way stretch and taped seams to avoid any friction or restriction of the swing. They also offer integrated UPF protection against the sun. The Dealer Tailored Trousers (men) combine the classic look of golf trousers with a stretch fabric for comfort.
It should be emphasized that Puma places a clear focus on sustainability in this collection. Several products analyzed, including the Hybrid jackets and various Layers, are made with at least 50% recycled materials.
The selected products in the Puma Golf fall/winter 2025/2026 collection thus demonstrate a stringent approach: the clothing should not only protect golfers from cool weather, but also fully support their sporting performance through the use of stretch and moisture management technologies.
