Callaway is expanding its range of rackets for ambitious players with two new developments: the Apex UW and the Apex UT. Both models combine cutting-edge manufacturing techniques with a functional design based on feedback from tour professionals. Their common goal: to make the long game of fairway and tea even more precise.
that Callaway Apex UW (Utility Wood) is an innovative solution for golfers who want to combine the width of fairway wood with the versatility and control of a hybrid.
At the core of the racket is the Tungsten Speed Wave, a tungsten mass weighing 41 grams. It is placed low and far forward in the head to optimize ball speed, especially when hitting at the bottom of the playing surface. The Step Sole Design ensures improved lawn interaction. This tiered sole reduces resistance and allows more consistent ball contacts from different positions. A triaxial carbon crown also saves weight. This mass is redistributed to increase fault tolerance without affecting the desired flight characteristics.
For experienced golfers looking for an alternative to Driver or Hybrid, Callaway offers the new Apex UT Utility iron. It is shaped like an iron and allows precise length control.
A key feature of the racket is Flexcore Technology. It increases playing surface flexibility and thus ensures smoother ball speeds — even when balls are not hit centrally. The hitting surface itself was developed with an Ai Face design tailored to utility irons to maximize consistency in spin and length. The forged hollow body construction contributes to a solid playing experience and dampens unwanted vibrations.
The Apex UT will go on sale on November 7, 2025 and is available for 329 euros (MSRP).
